York Metal Spinning has been around since 1948 and up until 2000, most work only involved metal spinning. Our team of metal spinners and engineers average over 20 years of experience each and we are developing a new group of apprentices that are learning the craft. We can spin just about anything that’s ever been spun and we can also do some metal spinning's that we have never seen done outside of our building. Every metal spinner has some proprietary processes but York Metal makes it a point to invest heavily into new processes that never existed before.
15 Spinning Lathes
We have 15 spinning lathes for making small thin parts up to large thick parts. From 1” up to over 60” on spinning's and up to 10 feet on venturi blanks. We have manual and hydraulic spinning as well as power assist and PNC – CNC.
3 PNC CNC Spinning Machines
Our three PNC CNC spinning machines are in excellent condition. Two of the machines have only a couple of years use on them. The machines feature multi head spinning rollers, blank size to 60” and steel thickness to ¼”, automatic trimming and beading from multiple K units, inside.

Our engineers, tool makers and spinners have developed some amazing spinning tools over the years. Our team works together on a variety of complex spinning and spinning engineering problems and they have developed processes that enable products to be produced from spinning that typically are not possible or that are usually made from other methods that are less economical. We will be delighted to put our team to work for you.
Any Shape or Size in All Standard Materials
Any shape or size can be made and so far we have never been stumped on figuring out how to make a product. We can work with 0.015” material up to 0.250” steel. We typically use steel, stainless steel, aluminum but we are also very use to working with Hastelloy, exotic stainless steels, copper, bronze, titanium and silver. Call to talk about your application
